There are three ways in which VET qualifications are recognised within the VCE.

Nationally recognised VET qualifications developed into full programs of study within the VCE and contributing to satisfactory completion of the VCE under the same recognition arrangements as for VCE studies. Structured training arrangements, involving on and off the job training, for a student employed under an apprenticeship or traineeship training contract.

Training in a nationally recognised VET or Further Education qualification - outside the suite of approved VCE VET and School based Apprenticeship and Traineeship Programs - that can provide credit toward the VCE.
